Below is the description of the App sections/pages when it is used to manage the device Shelfy

Homepage

The homepage displays a score summarizing the overall condition of the device and its environment. This score is calculated using four factors: temperature, the number of times the fridge door is opened, filter cleaning, and fridge cleaning. Detailed information is available for each variable.

Additionally, the battery status is shown, with alerts for when the device needs recharging.

Analytics & Reminders

This section offers graphs showing daily, weekly, and monthly trends for temperature and fridge door openings (by time or count).

The “Filter Washing” and “Cleaning the Fridge” sections include notifications that recommend when to clean the fridge for best food preservation and Shelfy’s filter to keep Shelfy running optimally.

After cleaning the fridge or washing the filter, users can register the activity within the app to reset the corresponding counter and keep track of their maintenance schedule.

Operating Modes

Users can select a mode tailored to their needs from the following options:

• Eco: Optimizes battery consumption and purification performance.

• Crisper: Enhances performance when Shelfy is placed in the fruit and vegetable drawer (the crisper).

• Performance: Intensifies purification to clean the fridge quickly. This mode is designed for temporary use as it consumes more battery power.

Food Storage Section

This feature helps users organize food in the fridge to extend its shelf life.

It also provides tips on the seasonality of fruits and vegetables and general food storage best practices.
